As part of the Chicago Parks District's Night Out in the Parks program, Natya Dance Theatre's "Padma – The Evening Rose" invites you to listen to dance and see music as dancers trained in the classical South Indian dance-theatre art of bharata natyam perform a visualization of poetry. In "Padma – The Evening Rose", poems are given visual treatment through rhythmic footwork and vivid expressions.

This performance is free and open to the public. In event of rain, the performance will be held inside the Indian Boundary Park fieldhouse gymnasium.
