Step into the rhythm and stay for the vibes at the South Side Kizomba Social, a one-day celebration of Kizomba, the vibrant partner dance from Angola. This event is designed for dancers of all levels, providing space to grow your practice and connect through movement and music.

The day will start with a Kizomba Intensive (1:00 PM – 4:00 PM) led by expert instructor Nii Takuma, where you’ll learn the foundational steps, rhythm, and techniques that define this grounded dance style. Whether you’re new to Kizomba or refining your skills, this intensive will enhance your technique, confidence, and social dance etiquette.

In the evening, join us for the Kizomba Social (7:00 PM – 10:30 PM) with music by DJ Kimani Rashad. This community-centered social dance event is the perfect opportunity to practice your moves, meet new people, and enjoy a welcoming atmosphere.
