See Chicago Dance invites members of the Chicago Dance Community to a very special Spring Community Convening, Wednesday, April 29th, 12:00–1:30 pm, at The Auditorium’s Katten Landau Studio.

Member Services Updates
This convening will focus on SCD Membership: how to get one and the benefits that come with it! Additionally, SCD will introduce two new exclusive Member Services offered in partnership with J. Hitchens Design and Direction Tour Marketing.

SCD Managing Editor, Tristan Bruns, will also be on deck to share best practices when seeking coverage (reviews, previews, and features) from SCD’s team of  Dance Writers.

Affordable Housing for Chicago’s Creatives
We’re also excited to welcome representatives from 400 Lake Shore Drive in partnership with Nina B. Winston Consulting, who will share information on this spectacular new residential offering for our creative community!

Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, 400 Lake Shore has 127 luxury and amenity-rich apartments designated expressly for Chicago’s arts and culture communities—at very affordable prices.

Set to open in 2027, this stunning new landmark high-rise offers a rare opportunity to live the dream! Attendees will have the chance to learn more about the development, explore eligibility and timeline details, ask questions, and join the waitlist for upcoming units.

The convening will conclude with community updates and dedicated time for networking. This gathering is open to all—SCD members and non-members alike.

Attendance is FREE. RSVP is requested by April 24, 2026.
