Anna-Helena McLean directs the Walkabout ensemble in the Chicago premiere of Storm, McLean’s fierce re-imagining of Shakespeare’s The Tempest. Featuring performers from three continents, this unique collaboration combines movement, muscularity and driving music in a seething and sensuous examination of isolation, control, and the clash between human willpower and the forces of nature. Storm is presented in a special partnership between Walkabout Theater and Moon Fool with the support of the MacArthur Foundation's International Connections Fund and Links Hall.
