The Summer Dance Program will give young dancers the opportunity to study both ballet and modern dance. Students will learn basic dance technique that will lead them in an exploration of their individual talent and creativity, and deepen their understanding of the art form. This dance intensive is designed to increase the dancer’s musicality, core strength, coordination, flexibility, and correct posture, as well as their dramatic awareness and physical power. Successful completion of this intensive will give young artists a foundation for further dance training in ballet and modern.
