Join us each week at The Puzzle Box Dance Studio for Sunday Funkday to train in various funk dance styles including popping, robot, animation, waving, tutting, and locking! Each month, we focus on a new topic or theme, and each week consists of one hour of structured instruction followed by one hour of freestyle practice. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to participate, regardless of financial circumstances. To keep these classes and sessions accessible, we offer a voluntary fee model. The true cost of running these sessions—including studio rental and instructor fees—is about $140 per session. Shadow Puppetz members subsidized this cost by providing their professional dance teaching services in-kind. While the sessions remain completely free, we encourage those who are able to contribute between $5-20 to help us offset these costs.
