Advanced/Pro – take tap with the dancers of Chicago Tap Theatre! Technique, Musicality, Combos and Story Time. This class is the weekly class taken by the dancers of Chicago Tap Theatre, taught by choreographer, soloist, and educator Mark Yonally. Each week this class will focus on loose-ankle technique, exercises created to enhance proficiency and musicality, and choreography. Each class will end with a short lecture covering Tap History, Jazz Music History or Basic Music Theory.

 

Intermediate Tap – Technique, Musicality, Combos and Story Time. Tap class for people with experience tap dancing who are looking for a class that will challenge but not frustrate them. Loose-ankle technique, exercises for speed, musicality and clarity and short combinations will all be explored.
