About the Nexus Project
The Nexus Project (Benjamin Wardell and Michel Rodriguez Cintra) is a family-friendly evening of storytelling and contemporary dance, first produced in November of 2013. The performance puts contemporary dance into a
conversational environment, allowing for an intimate experience and conversation between the audience and performers. Because of this, each performance is a bit different. But every performance will be full of impressive feats and a whole lot of heart.

In 2014, The Nexus Project was named one of Dance Magazine's "25 to Watch", received a full page feature in Chicago Magazine, a front page feature on Crain's Magazine, and was commissioned by Chicago Dancing Festival to create a new work for their 2014 performances at The Museum of Contemporary Art, an unprecedented occurrence for such a young company.
