In this shared bill, Adina Stuhlman presents Don't Drop The Soap–a new dance work exploring the movement possibilities that occur within the limitations of the confined space of a shower. Are those 3 walls in fact limitations? The work explores themes of personal discovery, limitation versus freedom, all starting from the very simple idea of dancing in the shower. Mike Steele and his collaborators (Jesse Hoisington and Kelsey Shipley) present Capillaries — an interdisciplinary work utilizing movement, soundscape, and spoken word. *This is Adina Stuhlman’s Links Hall debut. Mike Steele first performed at Links Hall in 2012 The Island’s “Tourist Trap” and was a 2017 summer intensive resident.
