The VDC Scholarship program is designed for advanced dancers working towards a professional career. You must be 17 years or older to apply and available Monday-Thursday 10:00am-1:45pm. We also have an intermediate scholarship track which is designed for intermediate level dancers looking to improve their technique. Dancers are required to take 8 classes a week in ballet, modern, jazz and contemporary.

We are currently auditioning for the Winter/Spring scholarship programs.

The audition consists of a ballet and jazz class with Nick Pupillo. Below are the available audition dates and times until December 30th. If you will not be in Chicago during that time we also accept video submissions.

The Fall scholarship program will run from January 5th through May 23rd with Spring break the week of March 23rd-28th. It consists of 11 mandatory classes a week, 4 morning ballet classes and 4 jazz/modern classes must be taken between Monday-Friday. The three additional classes can be taken in the evening or on the weekends. Limited weekly dues complete this financially assisted program.

Audition materials include a headshot, resume, a letter of intent stating your goals upon completion of the program and one letter of recommendation.
