We Women is a family-friendly one-night-only experience exploring the many archetypes of women (Fool, Heroine, Warrior, Lover, Mother, Artist, Crone) and how these facets of being a woman come to life in diverse dancer bodies.

 

Seven Directions, the anchoring piece of the evening, showcases the Dance Troupe’s multi-disciplinary blend of dance-making and on-the-spot visual mandala art-making. Another piece of the evening includes dancers from an open Brave and Barefoot performance class thus exhibiting the Dance Troupe’s mission of community engagement and promoting the truth that all bodies can, and shall, dance.

 

This April 2015 performance is the Dance Troupe’s second annual performance.
