Hedwig Dances seeks an arts administration intern for three to four hours per week for the months of late October 2025 through April 2026.
Description: This intern will work closely with the Artistic Director and Operations Team Lead for the 2026 season. This individual will be responsible for basic administrative tasks, office organization and marketing tasks such as poster distribution throughout their respective university’s campus.
Please note prior to applying that this is a non-paid internship for college credit.
Duties:
Organize and locate archival materials for the 40th Anniversary Archival project with clear direction and support from the Operations Team Lead and the Artistic Director.
Assist with accrual of images and videos for social media posts from company rehearsals and performances.
Serve as a secondary support person throughout the performance season. Specific responsibilities include greeting ticket buyers and set-up/take down as needed.
Distribute posters & rack cards throughout intern’s respective university campus and surrounding businesses with support from Operations Team Lead regarding distribution locations.
