Deeply Rooted interns collaborate with the Artistic team and Administrative staff on multiple projects throughout the year, working in operations, development, marketing, and programs as integral members of our staff. Interns will gain a well-rounded understanding of the inner workings of a non-profit arts organization while learning and working in a fast-paced, but nurturing environment. This is a great opportunity for any young professional seeking to both apply their academic skills and gain experience in arts administration. We are seeking enthusiastic, hardworking undergraduate and graduate students for internships for Spring, Summer, and Fall in the following areas.
Company Management – The Artistic Management Assistant Intern will provide administrative support for the Artistic Director of Deeply Rooted Dance Theater.
Dance Education – The Dance Education Intern supports the Dance Education Team (Artistic Director and Dance Education Manager) of Deeply Rooted Dance Theater in the management of the Dance Education training and outreach programs.
Development – The Development intern assists the Development Director with managing grants, individual donation and cultivation events.
Marketing – The Marketing Intern will support efforts to heighten the public image and visibility of Deeply Rooted Dance Theater.
Operations – The Operations Intern will assist the Operations Manager of Deeply Rooted DanceTheater in coordinating the daily operations of the organization, aid in various office administrative tasks, and provide logistical support as needed. The Intern also supports Deeply Rooted’s Business Manager with financial and business related matters in efforts to promote the company’s financial standing and growth.
Production Management – The Artistic Assistant Intern will provide administrative support for the Artistic Director of Deeply Rooted Dance Theater.
