Joel Hall Dancer Alana Hawkins (founder of Hawkins House of Horton) leads a one-hour introductory class in this essential American Modern dance technique.

A building block of Joel Hall Urban Jazz, Alana will give you an introduction into the basic shapes, alignments, and technique that make Horton a crucial piece of a dancer’s training. Trained at the Alvin Ailey School of Dance and Washington Ballet, Alana ‘s artistic and athletic expertise will keep you engaged, confident – and get you “on your leg.”
