After many treasured years at Navy Pier, Chicago Dance Month is expanding its reach! We are bringing dynamic offerings to Chicago’s neighborhoods! 2026 marks the pilot year for the NeighborhoodMOVES; don’t miss your opportunity to be a part of this program’s exciting beginnings.
NeighborhoodMOVES is presented in partnership with Collaboraction at Kimball Arts Center, Instituto Cervantes, and the Reva & David Logan Center for the Arts.

Chicago Dance Month begins with an opening celebration at Chicago’s Navy Pier featuring a dynamic mix of performances from companies and artists that span genres and cultural traditions. Audiences are encouraged to bring a blanket, have a picnic, and enjoy electrifying performances!

Enjoy free dance lessons on Navy Pier’s Wave Wall Platform every Wednesday in June. These sessions are great for those who love socializing, learning new dances, and being outdoors.
