Performance and Silent Auction
Join us April 19th to munch and mingle, bid in a silent auction, and witness our dance troupe perform three pieces inspired by the Moon, Viktor Frankl-an extraordinary Holocaust survivor and Man's Search for Meaning author, African rhythms, and contemporary and radical dance. Several artists will be collaborating with our troupe for a performance sure to be exciting.
Admission is free and delicious hors d'oeuvres will be served.
About the Troupe
We are a new Chicago-based women's dance troupe dedicated to dancing for purpose, wellness, and community. We embody intention, heart, and truth. We explore what it means to be women authentically and in today's time through verbal and movement processes. We are much more than a performance group with smiles on our faces. We are where ancient and modern dance meet.
Cassandra Dara-Abrams founded the Troupe in September 2013.
Founding Members are Karen Light, Nedda Mostafa, Jes Santrock, Sarina Sweis, Annie Tarwater, and Lucia Whalen. Want to learn more?
