Megan Young, a Chicago DanceMakers Forum (CDF) Greenhouse awarded choreographer and past DCASE resident artist is seeking collaborative performers for a new project concerning issues of: immigration, institutional racism, and digital surveillance. Performers must be 18+ and have movement experience (including, but not limited to contemporary dance, martial arts, theater, or cultural traditions). They should be comfortable working collaboratively and taking direction. This is a paid opportunity.
Interested performers should message meglouisemoves AT gmail.com and plan to attend an informal audition on Saturday, July 14th at 10:30am in the Chicago Cultural Center Dance Studio OR submit a video audition link via email. If submitting video, please do so by July 20th and show up to two minutes of movement that best features your strengths.
Rehearsals: Sundays 10-5pm, Specific times TBA, Chicago Cultural Center Dance Studio
Required Showings: Sunday, August 12th; Sunday, October 21st
