Community Engagement Part Time Business Administrator

The Community Engagement Business Administrator will assist the Community Engagement Manager with the business management of the Joffrey Community Engagement (CE) programs. This position is primarily responsible for data collection and communications related to the CE programs. This part-time position handles program management for all CE programs. 

  

The Community Engagement Business Administrator works with the Community Engagement Manager on all responsibilities related to communications, operations, data, development, and coordination of productions. The Community Engagement Business Administrator will be available to assist at all Community Engagement performances, productions, and events.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:  
A working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and Word. Microsoft Publisher preferred. Must possess strong communication and organizational skills. Professional manner, critical thinking, self-motivation, the ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment are essential. Awareness of arts education organizations in Chicago. Prior experience with Chicago Public Schools and Arts Curriculum is preferred. Bachelor degree and experience in a not-for-profit arts organization is preferred. Must have a solid commitment towards diversity, inclusion, and equity.   

WORK SCHEDULE: 
18-24 hours per week. Some weekend and evening hours involved including evening and weekend performances
