Visceral Dance Center is seeking 2-3 new work studies. The work study program is a work-exchange that allows you to work in exchange for free classes! Enjoy a friendly work environment and excellent instruction from any of our expertly qualified instructors! Priority will be given to candidates with weekend availability and schedule flexibility.

Responsibilities include:
* Working knowledge of adult and youth programs
* ability to recommend classes
* speak knowledgeably of different dance styles
* operate database in a fast-paced work environment
* take student and client payments
* sign-in students to classes
* create accounts
* maintaining care of studios and building
* Answer all incoming calls (assist customer/client with needs, direct customer/client to appropriate personnel)
* Assist faculty/staff with projects/tasks

Skills & Qualifications: 

Skills and qualifications include, but are not limited to:
* Strong interest in growth as an artist
* Flexible schedule / weekend availability
* Minimum 3 month commitment to program
* Work one 6.5 hour shift per week at front desk (or an equivalent split shift)
* Take 12 classes minimum per month
* Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment while paying close attention to detail
* Basic cash handling and cash drawer skills (strongly recommended)
* Work as a team (with other work-studies) to support each other, Visceral staff, and faculty
