” [ 夏 ] Summer Thoughts” is just one of the many exhibits, events, and performances happening during the Chicago / Obihiro Artist Exchange at Elastic Arts and the Hairpin Arts Center. It is an immersive exchange between Japanese-American artists in Chicago and artists from the Obihiro area, focusing on expanding the discourse of post-war Asian & Asian American experiences through contemporary art.
