Audition! Ruth Page Civic Ballet Training Company 2022/23 Season

 

The Ruth Page School of Dance is looking for dancers for the 2022 - 2023 Ruth Page Civic Ballet Training Company.

 
The Ruth Page Civic Ballet Training Company is a pre-professional, post-high school daytime training program for serious classical and contemporary dancers, ages 17-25.
 
An advanced program of the Ruth Page School of Dance, the Training Company will provide continued comprehensive technique training, unique performance experiences, focused study with guest artists and choreographers, and travel to our International Sister Schools in Cuba, Italy, Colombia, and Spain. A commitment for the full year is expected.
 
The 2022-2023 season will run late August - June • 5 days a week • 9:00AM - 3:30PM

We are also pleased to offer The Lauren Anderson Scholarship at The Ruth Page School of Dance: A full tuition scholarship available to young BIPOC dancers, ages 17 - 25, with mentorship from Lauren Anderson, herself. Lauren Anderson is one of the first African American Ballet dancers to become a principal in a major company in 1990 with the Houston Ballet.

3:15 – 5:15pm

 
• Dancers ages 17-25
• Dancers must have completed high school
• Please be prepared to dance en pointe (if applicable) and barefoot
**Dancers must wear a proper face covering throughout the audition

 

All auditionees must return a completed Audition Form and two photos (a headshot and a full-body shot in first arabesque).
