Supporting the acquisition, repair and operation of the MAYFAIR ARTS CENTER (MAC)
This July 18th at the Jazz Showcase, Chicago Human Rhythm Project will honor philanthropic visionaries Philip and Marsha Dowd with the JUBA! Award for Extraordinary Lifetime Commitment to Culture and Community at the Historic Jazz Showcase. Attendees and supporters will also be entitled to a backstage pass and reserved seating to the Pritzker Pavilion July 23 when CHRP will kicks off its 35th Anniversary.
JUBALEE 2023 has been reimagined to provide our devoted patrons with a variety of unique and unforgettable experiences up close and behind the scenes!
The July 18th JUBALEE! begins with a light buffet, passed hors d'oeuvres and an open bar followed by ground shaking performances by tap dance virtuosos from around the world, the JUBA! Award presentation and a paddle raise and champagne toast.

This year's event will support the acquisition, repair and operation of the Mayfair Arts Center(MAC). The MAC's recent "re-opening" heralded the revitalization of a South Side institution as a new center for arts education, performance and community development. To support this expansion of our services in Calumet Heights and surrounding neighborhoods, CHRP launched RAISE THE ROOF - a $1.7 mil comprehensive campaign to support the Phase I acquisition, repair and operation of the MAC. To date, we have raised $1.3 mil toward this goal and invite you to help us complete this campaign. In addition to the gala, naming opportunities are available for the Mayfair Arts Center.

Your attendance on July 18th will also entitle you to a backstage pass and reserved seating to a performance at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park on July 23 featuring performances by CHRP's Stone Soup Rhythms, Ayodele Drum and Dance, Chicago Dance Crash, Collaborative Institute for Cultural Arts, Natya Dance Theatre and more!
