On September 13th, you will have the rare opportunity to ask and learn about the experience of tackling a time-sensitive, theme-limited process.
96 HOURS is an experimental event that pairs artists, technicians, and designers of various disciplines–from puppeteers to performance artists, dancers to devised theatermakers–and challenges them to create an original, virtual work in a mere 96 hours.
Beginning September 8, three teams (composed of three artists plus a technician) will be handed the prompt “Transformation and Exchange” and a list of ingredients which must appear in their work. Ingredients may include: objects, text, formats, themes, or miscellaneous elements to spark the imagination. Together, each group will devise, rehearse, and tech an original piece, 20-45 minutes in length. Once the 96th hour is complete, audiences will be invited to witness the livestream results of this time-sensitive, theme-limited, organized chaos.
*Surprise artist lineup will be announced September 4th!
