Event Description
Catch Wreck is a community-focused dance event bringing the raw essence of Hip-Hop and Breaking (commonly misidentified as Breakdancing) culture to Links Hall. Featuring a DJ and dancers from around the country, it creates space and time for dancers to let loose, and for those outside of the culture, an opportunity to experience real Breaking. Centered around cyphers (open, improvisational dance circles) Catch Wreck takes an unconventional approach to a 2 vs. 2 Breaking battle. Come through, vibe with us, and feel what this culture is all about! Performers: DJ Fleg, Vanicia, Ben “BoxWon” Barnes, Onyx.
