In this class we will move in and out of the floor in improvised, choreographed, and partnered exercises to practice increased autonomy in movement. This class is influenced by classical and contemporary dance techniques, somatic practices, a background as a fitness instructor and yoga practitioner, and late nights on the dance floor. We will direct our skeleton in space, focusing on building strength and increasing our range of motion to maximize our physical efficiency.
