Audition for these 3 positions:
1. WH&D Company Dancer, contract includes: free Company Classes, Touring, Rehearsal pay ($17+/hour), Performance pay, and Teaching opportunities. Company Dancer Contract start date is flexible, and could start in March 2025, if you're available.
Qualified candidates will:
*possess a strong technical background in modern/contemporary and ballet
*have performing experience
*be available for rehearsals on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:00am to 1:30pm and occasional Fridays from 10am to 1pm
2. CMC Scholarship Award includes the opportunity to train in ballet, modern, contemporary, and more with Chicago’s best dance instructors. Award includes 8-10 classes per week, coaching, and more. Classes available Monday thru Friday, 10:00am to 1:15pm. CMC Scholarship recipients can start as early as January 22, 2024 or whatever date works for you.
3. 3rd Coast Contemporary Dance Program is a partnership between WH&D and CMC that offers affordable training and professional performance opportunities to dancers ages 17 to 26. Classes and rehearsals are M,W, F from 10:00am to 1:30pm. Program begins in September 2025, but we are accepting a few applicants who want to start in early 2025.
