Performed by the highly acclaimed Ballet Chicago Studio Company, this exciting program brings to Chicago audiences the return of Artistic Director Daniel Duell’s Hansel and Gretel, two world premieres by Ballet Chicago Resident Choreographer Ted Seymour, and the seminal Balanchine masterpiece, Concerto Barocco.

Music for the program includes Engelbert Humperdinck’s majestic late 19th century opera score adapted for symphony orchestra alone, Johann Sebastian Bach’s “Concerto in D Minor for Two Violins,” the virtuosic piano work “Six Pièces Romantiques” by French composer Cecile Chaminade, and the highly contemporary “Zinc, I Giorni Andante” by composers Zoe Keating and Ludovico Einaudi.
