Ballet Chicago will light up Chicago Dance Month with two "Sneak Peeks" of Illuminate on Friday, April 24, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday, April 25 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Ballet Chicago, 17 N. State Street, in the heart of downtown. These events are free and open to the public. The full production of Illuminate, Ballet Chicago's fourth consecutive Spring Repertory Series production at the Harris Theater for Music and Dance, will be presented on Saturday, May 30th, at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. This shining production will include George Balanchine's jazzy Gershwin classic Who Cares?, his exquisite Tchaikovsky Pas de Deux, and three Harris Theater premieres: Resident Choreographer Ted Seymour's A Pulse Stolen and Danzon!, and the return of Artistic Director Daniel Duell's acclaimed Concerto in A Minor.
