The BIOS Project is an annual choreographic residency and performance festival hosted by Ballet 5:8, centering the lived stories of women—especially BIPOC women—in Chicago. Each choreographer invited to this festivla creates a new work based on an in-depth, real-life interview with a local woman. BIOS amplifies female voices by honoring their stories through movement.
