SMITH PRESENTS THE COMPANY’S NEWEST EVENING LEGNTH WORK, “CARTOGRAPHY OF PEACE”. INSPIRED BY THE ART OF SURREALIST ASSEMBLAGE, THE FILM EMPLOYS CONTEMPORARY DANCE AND OPERA TO EXPLORE THE ETHOS OF PEACE. THE WORK IS SET TO THE IMPROVISATORY SOUNDS OF LAMARRE, HILL AND POETRY WRITTEN BY SMITH AS WELL AS THE MUSIC OF NOTABLE ARTISTS VIVALDI, BALKAN BEAT BOX, MEREDITH MONK AND UP AND COMING COMPOSER JESSIE MONTGOMERY.
