The Ruth Page Center for the Arts announces its annual artists in-residence showcase performance Center Stage at Ruth Page at the Ruth Page Center for the Arts, 1016 N. Dearborn St., Friday, March 22 at 6:30 p.m. The Birthday Party reception will begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by the showcase performance at 7:30 p.m. General admission tickets are $10 and a reservation is required in advance as space is limited. March 22 marks the 120th birthday of international dance icon and Ruth Page Center founder, Ruth Page (1899 - 1991). In honor of her birthday, "Center Stage at Ruth Page" will feature performances by the artists who call the Ruth Page Center for the Arts home. Featuring CDI/Concert Dance Inc, DanceWorks Chicago, Hedwig Dances, Porchlight Music Theater, Ruth Page Civic Ballet, and ShawChicago Theater Company. Join us for birthday cupcakes and a toast to Ruth Page, followed by a performance by the six Artists In-Residence!
