The Ruth Page Center for the Arts announces its annual artists in-residence showcase performance Center Stage at Ruth Page at the Ruth Page Center for the Arts, 1016 N. Dearborn St., Sunday, March 22 at 5 p.m. The birthday party reception begins at 4 p.m. followed by the showcase performance at 5 p.m. General admission tickets are $10 and a reservation is required in advance as space is limited. March 22 marks the 121st birthday of international dance icon and Ruth Page Center founder, Ruth Page (1899 - 1991). In honor of her birthday, Center Stage at Ruth Page features performances by the artists who call the Ruth Page Center for the Arts home. Scheduled to perform are CDI/Concert Dance Inc, DanceWorks Chicago, Hedwig Dances, Porchlight Music Theater and Ruth Page Civic Ballet as well as the talented artists from Congo Square Theatre and The Ruth Page School of Dance.
