Event Description

Description:
The Chicago Philharmonic continues its 2014-15 25th anniversary season dedicated to the five senses with Taste The Music. Celebrate Valentine's Day weekend with delicious, taste-themed pieces by composers from Mozart to Strauss II. As a special treat for the holiday, the orchestra will be performing Bohuslav Martinu’s one-act comedic ballet, La Revue de Cuisine, a romantic culinary soap opera about the marriage of Pot and Lid. Visceral Dance Chicago will bring the plot to life, playing roles as kitchen utensils! Marimba music will be featured in the lobby before the concert, so arrive early, and come hungry for great music.
