Ballet 5:8’s Christian Dance Educators Leadership Summit is a three-day conference bringing together dance educators, administrators and leaders from across the country. Attendees will gain insight and inspiration on best practices in teaching and pedagogy, choreography, administration, staff management, leadership and more from seasoned directors in the field.
The field of dance is typically full of people who love dance and love what they do. Even so, there is a lot of work to be done! While managing a dance school or organization can be very fruitful and rewarding, it also brings its own challenges. This event is an invitation to spend a weekend gaining practical tools, encouragement, and refreshment, as well as networking and sharing insight with other dance educators, administrators and leaders. The Summit is dedicated to fostering excellence in dance education, to encouraging and equipping dance educators, administrators and leaders from all backgrounds, and to ensuring that dance education centers can become and continue to be leaders in keeping the communities we serve healthy and strong through the arts.
