Mindfulness is the knowing that the experiences you are experiencing is happening now. Being in the present; the moment-to-moment awareness. This sense of perspective give you the freedom to stay connected to the present and the quality of now without judgement.
What is the difference between yoga, and mindfulness yoga?
Yoga is the practice. The method of combining the physical postures, breathing, and meditation to help improve your well-being. "Mindful yoga" is using that physical practice, but with an overall emphasizes of deep level of present-moment awareness. Which focus on the sensations within the body and reconnecting the mind to the breath rather than trying to achieve perfect alignment. Basically, it utilizes the mindfulness techniques into the yoga practice; as the primary focus is the connection between the body-mind.
