Drawing from her international dance experience with choreographers such as Mats Ek, Johan Inger, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Aszure Barton, and many others, Banning Bouldin facilitates an environment dedicated to research where dancers are encouraged to explore a variety of physicalities and movement possibilities through the use of structured improvisation inside contemporary technique and floorwork. Dancers will then have the opportunity to apply these tools in interpreting excerpts of Bouldin's new work for the company.
