A Poetry and Dance Workshop
What makes a successful collaboration?
Led by the 2018 Body Passages participants, move through a series of writing and movement exercises focused in collaborative techniques. Learn new approaches to inform your devising process and join the ongoing dialogue examining successful cross-disciplinary collaborations. Open to artists and enthusiasts alike. This year’s workshop borrows from the 2018 Body Passages theme of activation. At the conclusion of the workshop, Body Passages participants will present an in-progress showing of their final collaborations which will premiere in October later this year.
Body Passages Series is a poetry and dance residency and performance series by Chicago Danztheatre Ensemble and Chicago Poetry Center. CDE and CPC pair professional dancers and poets to create their own artist-led projects fusing language and movement over the course of 10 months.
Your $5 Registration Fee goes on to directly support the 2018 Body Passages participants.
