DayLab, DanceWorks Chicago’s version of a One-Day Workshop, is open to dancers ages 15 – 25 years working at an advanced/professional level.  Join us for this special combo DayLab + DanceFlight and immerse yourself in a welcoming environment geared to addressing your body, mind, and spirit! Discover and share inspiration through training, artistic exploration, and connection with your peers!

SCHEDULE (all times Central):

11am-12:15pm: Ballet with DWC Artistic Director Julie Nakagawa

12:30pm-1:45pm: Contemporary and DWC rep with DWC dancers

2pm-2:45pm: Tell-It-Like-It-Is Session with Julie and Dance360 Program Director Sara Bibik

BONUS!  3pm-4:30pm: DanceFlight!  See DWC in performance!!!

  • Participate with confiDANCE!  ALL members of Team DWC are fully vaccinated.
  • Proof of vaccination is required from each dancer as part of the registration process.

EveryBODY entering DanceWorks Chicago work spaces is asked to comply with “house rules”, which have been crafted with current CDC guidance. Thank you for abiding by these guidelines and being a Good Dance Citizen! Procedures are subject to change. DWC policies include proof of vaccination and masks to be worn at all times, unless actively eating/drinking. Additionally,

  • Hand sanitizer is available…please help yourself!
  • Cleaning supplies are available in the studio.
