One man's life is changed upon stumbling into a beautiful tango cafe filled with friendship, love and heartbreak. Full of entrancing tango music and dancing, prepare to fall into tango's embrace!
El Tango Cafe is a tango theater show created, written and choreographed by Jorge Niedas & Liz Sung of Tango 21 Dance Theater. These stories are inspired by an old Chicago cafe that used to be on Ashland Avenue. Featuring a cast of 18 dancers, singers and actors, come and join us for an enthralling night of tango!
Free parking in the lot.
*If parking lot is full, overflow parking available for $2 with validation (1 block away on Blackhawk) Parking permits MUST be obtained from theater & displayed.
Refreshments & snacks will be available for purchase.
ALL SEATS ARE FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE!
Doors open at 7:30 pm on Friday & Saturday. Sunday, doors open at 6:30 pm.
