Event Description
Join Old Town School teaching artist, Maya Tatiana for this special workshop focusing on bulerias, a special Flamenco dance form associated with Jerez de la Frontera. Participants will focus on hand palmas (clapping), marjace, desplantes, and creating expressive movements. Dancers will be accompanied by a Flamenco guitarist.
Open to all. Wear comfortable dance clothing. Long, full skirts are recommended. Wear Flamenco shoes or any sturdy heeled shoe (less than 2" high).
