Event Description
Students will learn a Pilates-based conditioning program designed to enhance dance performance, improve technique and prevent injuries.
Dance-specific issues will be addressed such as knee/ankle-foot stability,turnout, mechanics of port de Bras and upper back,extensions, as well as pelvis placement. This class will respect fundamental body mechanics and anatomy in order to promote an intelligent way to achieve strength, flexibility,mobility and control.
No experience necessary, wonderful class for dancers and non-dancers alike, taught by former Batsheva dancer Elizabeth Espindola!
