Making its debut at the Auditorium, after critically acclaimed appearances in the Chicago Dancing Festival, Houston Ballet presents celebrated English choreographer David Bintley's full-length Aladdin, a magical tale of love, trickery, and triumph. Originally created for the New National Ballet of Japan in Tokyo in 2008, the production features spectacular scenery by the celebrated English designer Dick Bird and an original score by Carl Davis. The Daily Telegraph of London enthused of the work, “Aladdin is a full-blown piece of three-act splendour and looks absolutely astonishing….a delightful family show, and an ideal first outing to the ballet.”
