Inaside Chicago Dance presents the 2014 Choreographic Sponsorship Event
Celebrating its 10th season of integrity, passion, and pride, Inaside Chicago Dance will be showcasing works by up-and-coming choreographers from around the country who will come together in four evenings of new Jazz dance works. In addition to the pieces being adjudicated by Artistic Director, Richard Smith and Associate Artistic Director, Robert McKee, audience votes will help decide the winner of the competition. The choreographer with the highest bid at the end of the night will win $1,000.00 and will have their work performed by Inaside Chicago Dance as a part of its diverse jazz repertoire in 2015. Saturday’s performance will feature Inaside company members performing work by last year’s winning artist, Kirsten Harvey, as well as a reprise performance by the 2014 winner. Seating is limited so order your tickets in advance.
Wednesday, 12th through Saturday March 15th at 8pm. Tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for students, seniors and dancers. The performance will be located at theAthenaeum Theatre in Studio 2 at 2936 N. Southport Avenue. The closest "L" stop is the Brown Line at Wellington Ave. Then walk 4 blocks WEST to Southport.
