Making Waves

See Dance History live and in the making! MOMENTA's Spring Evening Dance Concerts are the only place where you can see classical ballet, historical modern, contemporary, and physically integrated dance all on one concert. MOMENTA Dances features historical works by:  Doris Humphrey, Marius Petipa, Arthur Saint Leon, and a variation on Martha Graham’s Prelude to Action; Physically Integrated Dance Works by Anita Fillmore Kenney, Ginger Lane, and Kris Lenzo; Contemporary works by Sarita Smith Childs and Caroline TeDesco; and a repertory favorite by artistic director,Stephanie Clemens. Saturdays, March 9 & 16 at 8pm, and Sundays, March 10 & 17 at 7pm. The Doris Humphrey Memorial Theatre at the Academy of Movement and Music, 605 Lake Street in Oak Park. Tickets are available at the door: $20 Adults / $10 Seniors / $5 Students. Adult priced tickets can also be purchased online at www.momentadances.org. The Academy is wheelchair accessible.
