MARGAM - THE SACRED PATH. Dancers from Natya Dance Theatre present an evening of Bharata Natyam, a dance theater form of India that uses dynamic body movement, rhythmic footwork, hand gestures and facial expressions to convey meaning and emotion that create rasa, the aesthetic experience that transforms the audience. Dancers are accompanied by musicians playing traditional instruments from India.
This free, family-friendly event is presented as part of Night Out in the Parks, presented by the Chicago Park District. No tickets required.
