Fumiyo Ikeda has danced with Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker’s Rosas since 1983. During the course of her career, she has also chosen her own direction, collaborating with additional progressive artists such as choreographer Alain Platel, writer and director Tim Etchells, and visual artist and actor/writer Benjamin Verdonck. Ikeda, the remarkable senior dancer with Rosas and rehearsal director for Rosas danst Rosas (Oct 9–12), gives a master class for professionals and advanced students on the occasion of Rosas celebrated return to MCA Stage after 15 years.
