Come spend 3 hours in this musical theatre dance workshop learning how to put together choreography and theatrical expression that makes musical theatre numbers full of power and pizzaz! The workshop will start with a thorough physical warm-up/class and then move into learning choreography (rehearsal) for a complete modern musical dance number. (i.e. the Spongebob Musical, the Prom, etc... TBD). We will examine how to perform as an ensemble to tell a story through movement, connect dance moves and gestures with musical accents, and how creatively use staging to highlight each performer's abilities. Please bring jazz shoes or sneakers and clothing for movement!
