Chicago Ballet Conservatory Seeks Dancers and Actors for “The Nutcracker”

The Chicago Ballet Conservatory production of “The Nutcracker,” presented by Elgin Symphony Orchestra, will be holding open auditions on Sunday, August 4 at Mohler Dance Academy in Bloomingdale, IL. Director Linda Cunningham will be looking for male and female actors, dancers and gymnasts of all ages to share the stage with seasoned, international professionals in order create an inclusive production full of elaborate and enchanting surprises.
This year’s event returns to the beautiful Hemmens Cultural Center in Elgin on December 7-8. Promising to be one of the most captivating and creative suburban reprisals, the performance will feature international professionals including Elina Miettinen (ABT), Sean Stewart (ABT), Raoni Xavier (Bolshoi Brazil), Roger Hendricks Simon (star of stage and screen), Violetta Komyshan and additional global cast surprises.
