Join us in Chicago June 27th- July 2nd for our Company Summer Intensive. Artists will experience a week of technique classes, creative process, Artivist training, professional development, and more! Recommended for int/advanced level pre-professional and professional dancers ages 18 and over.
Classes led by Artistic Director Vershawn Sanders-Ward, company members Chaniece Holmes, Leana Allen and Destine Young, along with our special guest artist, NYC-based Tamisha Guy. Guy was selected as one of Dance Magazine’ Top 25 to Watch in 2016 and she also received the 2016 Princess Grace Award. In 2021, she received the 2022 Vilcek Prize for Creative Promise in Dance. Tamisha currently dances with A.I.M, under Artistic Direction of Kyle Abraham, and she is a current Lecturer in Dance at Barnard College.
