Echo Modern Dance Collective is back for another year of dance film festivities! After having to cancel our live show in 2020, we pivoted to pandemic-safe artmaking and founded Reverb. We were surprised at how fulfilling and community-driven the event turned out to be, despite being virtual. The limitations of the pandemic spurred creativity in us that we couldn't have anticipated, so much so that the festival is now two days. So here were are— beyond excited about an event that has now become annual! Reverb is a compilation of our creative reverberations emerging from the pandemic, and a testament to keeping on.
We would love to have you join us again on YouTube Premiere for a one-time only viewing of the film festival. There will be two nights with two different shows, held on February 9th and 10th at 7pm CST. Buying a ticket gets you access to both nights! Each show will be followed by a panel discussion on Zoom webinar, where we welcome all audience members to ask the filmmakers and movers any questions they have about the works.
A few days prior to the event, you will be emailed two links for each night: one for the film festival viewing on YouTube Premiere, and one for the Zoom panel.
